Pioneering alternative band Nohumaneye return their new album Age of Extinction.

The band formed in Aberdeen in 1977 and were discovered by Mayo Thompson (The Red Crayola), who published their first single through Cherry Red Music. They performed live in and around North-East Scotland then pursued various solo projects in music and film.

Martyn and Walter continued to write and record in Aberdeen. David released a solo album ‘Delirious’ through Rough Trade Music, sang with Liverpool and New York based band Power Animal and drummed with Aberdeen based Mono Grande. David was drummer in Richard Strange’s (Doctors of Madness) solo band ‘Happiness’.

Recently, Nohumaneye songs were reimagined on the Baba Vuk album Promesse du Bonheur which was longlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) Awards.

Nohumaneye and The Pop Group legend Mark Stewart have collaborated on a Remix EP 'Nohumaneye versus Mark Stewart' with producer Matthew Shaw. 'King of the Zombies' is the first release from the EP.
